Healthy, nutritious meals
All children having the hot lunch at Dell Cottage must be at the nursery by 12.00
We provide mid morning snacks of fruit and raisins, afternoon snacks of finger sandwiches and toast.
Packed lunches may be brought, arrangements will be made for all perishable food to be refrigerated. We ask parents/guardians not to give their children fizzy drinks, sweets, or any food containing nuts.
Healthy, 2 course nutritious hot lunches are available for a small
daily charge of £2.00
During snack and meal times, staff sit and eat with the children creating a family atmosphere and emphasises the importance of good table manners and social skills.
Vegetarian options can be arranged upon request, any dietary needs will be catered for.
Weekly menus will be posted on the notice board.
Dell Cottage is a part of the Cool Milk scheme, offering free milk to each child.
We also have a water dispenser allowing children to help themselves to refreshing water throughout the day.
