The needs of the children are paramount at Dell Cottage Day Nursery. Your child will feel secure and  happy in an environment which he/she can express individual characteristics and develop self-discipline and independence.

There are two main activity rooms—THE PURPLE ROOM and THE YELLOW ROOM plus THE ORANGE ROOM- the arts & crafts room and lastly, THE
BLUE ROOM which is the  role play/ quiet room. These rooms are organised by age  so that equipment, activities, food, rest and supervision are geared to the children’s  individual needs.

We believe young children learn best through play. We plan activities that are both educational and enjoyable.  By skilfully mixing education and play  into each activity we can lay a firm foundation for a life-long love of learning.  Daily activities consist of sand, water, cooking, crafts, music/movement, role play — exploring imagination and P.E.

Our premises, policies and procedures are designed to ensure peace of mind.

On registration parents are requested to read through  our policies and procedures. These are evaluated and reviewed regularly and can be viewed  in the entrance hall at any time.

Dell Cottage has a large,  safe, secure garden giving the children  an ideal  space to play, develop their motor skills  while learning to compete and interact  by joining in organised games. We have a special area where the children can plant their own flowers, veggies  and herbs.
