Independence is one of our main objectives, we apply Montessori based ideas which not only encourage children’s independence to choose their own activities but to tidy up after themselves.
Security is a priority. Our premises, procedures and policies are all designed to ensure peace of mind for parents/guardians. No unauthorised person is admitted, all visitors are accompanied at all times. Only authorised persons may pick up a child.
On registration we ask all parents/guardians to read copies of all our policies and procedures, your suggestions and comments are very welcome.
During all activities, children are encouraged to care for and respect each other and to become self-reliant as they learn to dress and feed themselves, and to help tidy
up after activities.
We operate an Equal Opportunities policy and seek to encourage appropriate behaviour by praise and encouragement.
We believe young children learn best through play. We plan activities that are both educational and enjoyable. We follow closely the National Curriculum, hoping to give a clear advantage to all our children by the time they start school.
By skilfully mixing education and play into each activity we can lay a firm foundation for a life-long love of learning.
Every day activities consist of sand, water, cooking, crafts, music/movement, role play —exploring their imagination and P.E.
