PARENT/GUARDIAN PARTICIPATION
We positively welcome input from parents/guardians. We aim to work in partnership with parents/guardians to provide the best possible early years education and experience for their children. Parents/guardians are encouraged to meet regularly with staff and management to discuss their child’s development.
KEY PERSON
Your child will be assigned a Key-person. This person will have a special responsibility for your child and will help your child settle in and liaise with parents/guardians on the child’s activities during the day, At the end of a session you will be given an information slip, this will tell you what your child has eaten/how long they have slept that day and any other information in case your Key-person is unavailable
PROGRESS
Your child’s progress will be recorded in an “All About Me” file which you will have access to at anytime. This book consists of observations made concerning your child while at Dell Cottage Day Nursery. Parents are welcome to look at these records and also add comments about achievements made at home. This file will be yours to pass onto your child's school.
