Our staff are dedicated, enthusiastic and caring. They all have ongoing training in the New Early Years Foundation Stage, Stepping Stones and they are experienced in first aid and child protection. All staff hold formal qualifications in Early Years Care.

Carly Drodge - Deputy Manager
Carly is qualified with a DCE in Childcare and has been working at Dell Cottage since 2006, when the nursery first opened. She has experience in working with children with speech and behavioural difficulties and is the nursery’s SENCO. Carly is the Purple Room Leader.
Marlene Wilkins - Yellow Room Leader
Marlene is a qualified teacher with 25 years’ experience and has 10 years’ experience in working with Special Educational and Behavioural needs children. Marlene has worked at Dell Cottage for 2 years.
Natalie Wale - Nursery Assistant
Natalie is qualified with a DCE in Childcare and has worked at Dell Cottage for one year. Natalie is a key person and works with Marlene in the Yellow Room.
Jo Cole - Nursery Assistant
Jo is qualified with a DCE in Childcare, she is also trained in Birth - 3 Matters and First Aid. She’ll be working with Carly in the under 3’s room.
Sarah Hayter - Nursery Assistant
Sarah is qualified with a DCE in Childcare and first aid. She worked at Dell Cottage as a student, gaining valuable work experience. Sarah joined the team on July 1, 2008 - Sarah will be working in the Yellow Room with the over 3’s.

Rachael is N.N.E.B qualified with over 8 years’ experience. She is currently working towards a level 4 degree in Early Years and hopes to go on to achieve her Level 5 status.
