Meal times
A two course, home cooked lunch is available everyday. Daily menus are posted on the notice board outside. Vegetarian options are available and we provide alternatives for those with allergies. Children may bring their own healthy packed lunch but some items are prohibited such as, nuts and fizzy drinks etc.
We also have breakfast available to those who attend the 8:00 session. Mid morning and afternoon snacks are included and we offer free milk and cool water throughout the day. For children who stay between 17:00- 18:00, another two course meal is available.
Learning & Development
Dell Cottage is committed to implementing the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS 2021) within the setting.

At Dell Cottage we use Tapestry. This is a secure online learning journal to record photos, observations and comments in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, to build up a record of your child's experiences with us.
We have an open door policy with parents and communicate regularly to discuss their child's development. Your child's progress will be recorded online via Tapestry which parents are able to log in and access at any time.

The managers dogs; Skye and Simba come to the nursery on occasion.
They are never left alone with the children and are under supervision at all times.
